I have worked with over one hundred kids of all ages from nine months to sixteen years of age. The problems have ranged from Allergies to ADHD, Autism, low self esteem and much more. I have also voluntarily worked with the Lockland School District for two years working with students who exhibited behavior and learning problems. This experience definitely broadened my perspective.
EFT has proven to be a very effective tool for curing many issues and for giving kids a tool they can use on themselves when they get angry or upset. One of the best gifts a parent or grandparent can give a child is the gift of EFT. A very simple technique is to tap with the child at bed time. He/She can just relay the day’s events, good & bad, while you tap on the EFT acupuncture points. I have used EFT many times with my own family’s children. We’ve dealt with issues like fear of darkness, fear of going to sleep after viewing scary commercials and even hurt feelings from comments made by a classmate or teacher.
The benefits of EFT are many including enhanced sports performance. Many times kids have fears in sports such as being hit by a pitch while at bat or making an embarrassing mistake in front of their friends, parents or coaches. EFT can sometimes sound to good to be true but EFT can be very effective for all the problems mentioned above as well as others not even discussed yet. No, EFT doesn’t always work 100% of the time. I haven’t found anything yet that does. However it works most every time especially in the hands of a skilled therapist who can unlock the right doors with his or her artistry.
